Crew Wrap Shirt #1
While working in Film, I had the opportunity to design the wrap shirts for our department after the Set Decorator saw a full-page drawing I had done of everyone on the crew in the style of a kid’s doodle. I was given essentially free reign to do whatever I wanted. No pressure, right?

This is the final design. All members of the Set Dec crew and office are represented here in some way, riding a crudely rendered bus which has been turned and twisted to roughly form a “3" in honor of the third season we had completed. I learned a lot doing this project and am very proud of how it turned out. I was inspired by a piece hanging in my grandfather’s office of the word “ENGINEER” with multiple cartoon characters doing various engineer-ing activities around the letters. My grandfather was also the person to introduce me to Looney Toons, MAD Magazine, and Monty Python. MAD was certainly an inspiration here as well.
Hand drawn & drafted (multiple times,) scanned and adjusted in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Crew Wrap Shirt #2
The next season I was asked to do the wrap shirt again. I had aimed to do another like the previous version, but the show was so chaotic in so many ways (I won’t bore you with details) that I decided simpler would be better. I wanted to capture our frustrations combined with some visually interesting elements. I’m happy with how it turned out!

2018
While at University, I had a friend ask me to design a character for his… product. Don’t ask me what it was because I don’t recall…
Anyway, I worked out my ideas on paper, then brought the scan into Photoshop. This was my first time doing any sort of work in the program and I’m very happy with how it turned out, despite how busy the design is for a logo.
Still, it’s fun and looks good on stickers!
